Question by aedhi88: What are the benefits of a DVI over a VGA input on a monitor?

I know that DVI is a better quality…but why

Is it because

DVI converts the computer’s analog signal to digital and sends it to the monitor.

or

DVI handles the digital signal coming out of the computer, producing a better picture on a monitor.

i run my monitor in dvi mode….it produces a better picture but its so minute your eyes cant see it….cant tell the difference between vga and dvi….thats just me though…my eyes may be bad…lol……

if you do want to run dvi….make sure you buy a dvi-d dual link cable…12-15 bux on newegg.com….
